Merrymeeting Adult & Community Education is seeking a Driver's Education Driving Instructor to join our vibrant educational community.
PAY RATE: $30.00/hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides on road driving instruction for students
- Schedules drives with students/parents
- Maintains driving calendar
- Communicates with office regarding necessary maintenance and repairs
- Attends driver's education meetings and professional development
- Reports unusual or concerning issues regarding student driving or behavior with the office
- Stays up to date on the renewal of their instructor’s license
- Maintains and submits paperwork in a timely manner
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED/HiSET (B.A./B.S. preferred)
- Valid Class C Maine Driver’s License
- Clean Driving Record
- Valid State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
- Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles Driver/Rider Education Program
