Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour | Based on education and experience

Merryhill Preschool is seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven Preschool Assistant Principal (Assistant Center Director) to support and lead one of our high-performing schools in the Aurora area. What You’ll Do:
As a school leader with Merryhill Preschool, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Overseeing daily school operations and ensuring full compliance with state licensing regulations
  • Leading a team of educators and support staff with clear vision and enthusiasm
  • Building meaningful relationships with families and creating a welcoming school culture
  • Ensuring curriculum implementation, classroom excellence, and student achievement
  • Driving enrollment and retention through effective community engagement and customer service
  • Partnering with regional leadership to meet performance goals and support staff development

What We’re Looking For:
  • An awarded High School Diploma and one of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required.
    • Bachelor's degree in any other field with 30 semester credit hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development courses and 3 months of verifiable experience working in licensed childcare.
    • Associate degree in in Early Childhood or Child Development and 3 months of verifiable experience working in licensed childcare.
  • A strong understanding of Colorado state standards for licensed childcare centers.
  • Passion for mentoring teachers and shaping high-quality educational environments
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to travel within the local market and step into leadership openings as needed
