Purpose of position- ONSITE ONLY IN MENTOR, OHIO (Hybrid not being offered at this time)
Responsible for drafting and engineering a project from start to finish, including floor plans, detail plans, submittals, and production type drawing sets.

Role and Responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge of work orders in a production-based environment.
- Complete understanding of materials and finishes in the woodworking industry.
- Work with Project Engineer’s on a schedule to ensure timelines are set and maintained
- Produce design drawings (concept), as well as full production drawings
- Perform self-checks on completed drawings for accuracy.
- Willing to train and stay up to date on the latest releases of software in the industry.
- Work efficiently with clients, Architects and General Contractors
- Ability to make changes and update drawings (redlines) received from the Architect, Designer, or General Contractor.
- May require travel for meetings or to site to take field dimensions
- 3-5 years woodwork experience or CAD/3D software.
- Working experience with AutoDesk Products (ACAD, Revit, Inventor, etc)
- Working experience with Hexagon Productions (Cabinet Vision, AlphaCam, etc) is a plus.
- Ability to read and identify architectural plans & specifications
- Ability to read a tape measure, and communicate in the language of drawings (Plan, Elevation, Section, Detail, etc)
- Knowledge and/or experience in cabinet shop environment (mill, assembly, install, etc)
- Ability to identify and create layouts in paper space.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook a plus
