Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventative maintenance and service repairs on complex systems, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units (RTUs), and cooling towers.
Diagnostics: Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults using diagnostic tools like multimeters, pressure gauges, and flow meters.
Customer Service: Explain technical issues and repair options to clients in non-technical terms and provide cost estimates for services.
Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all local building codes and safety regulations, including the proper handling and recovery of refrigerants according to EPA standards.
Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in refrigeration theory and electrical schematics for RTUs, split systems, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and hydronics.
Certifications: EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders to access rooftops.
Professionalism: Must maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record and possess strong communication skills for client interaction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
