Merritt Marine Construction is looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team. We specialize in waterfront construction, including bulkheads, docks, piers, and other marine structures throughout the local Delaware area.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning new skills, and taking pride in a job well done. We're looking for someone who wants more than a paycheck and is interested in developing valuable construction skills with an established local company.
What You'll Do
- Assist with the construction and installation of bulkheads, docks, and marine structures.
- Work with hand tools, power tools, materials, and construction equipment.
- Support daily jobsite operations and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Learn construction techniques and take on additional responsibilities as skills develop.
What We're Looking For
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Comfortable with physically demanding work and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to work well with a team and follow instructions.
- Construction experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and initiative matter just as much.
