Position Summary:
The Personal Care Service Provider (PCSP) delivers compassionate, client-centered care to individuals in their
homes, supporting their independence and enhancing their quality of life. This role includes assisting with personal
care, household tasks, and other daily living activities as outlined in the client's care plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide mobility support, including transfers and ambulation.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
Assist with medication reminders as directed.
Support clients with errands and transportation to appointments (if applicable).
Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.
Respect the privacy and dignity of clients and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Experience in caregiving or personal care services (preferred).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a State background check, BAAS registry and OIG.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
The PCSP works primarily in the client's home, following strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both the
client and themselves.
Open to both part-time (minimum 20 hours) and full-time, with flexible hours.
