Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.

Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units, cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Position Summary: Phlebotomist

Job Description:

Performs venipunctures and skin punctures competently and expediently. Has thorough knowledge of test requirements, assists in the Clinical Laboratory as needed. Responsibilities include collection of blood cultures and blood samples; inventory control; office.

Essential Functions:

• Performs specimen collection.
• Completes duties in a time-efficient manner, knows how to prioritize STAT orders using the STAT priority protocol, urgent orders, scheduled orders and outpatients. Performs all office functions.
• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/ healthcare errors.
• Labels record time and initials on all test tubes, tests via LIS, and file paperwork as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• HS Graduate or equivalent
• Successful completion of phlebotomy training program with internship.
• 1 year experience preferred.
