Position Summary: EVS Associate I, Environmental Services. Part-time 24 Hours per Week, Evenings 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Methuen campus
Assist in cleaning of hospital departments.
Responsibilities:
- Cleans assigned area each day, including bathrooms, flooring, furnishings, flat surfaces, high surfaces, and trash receptacles.
- Cleans patient's furnishings and bed upon discharge following departmental procedures/standards for check-out.
- Cleans assigned area utilizing proper chemicals.
- Cleans assigned area utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Obtains supplies and equipment at the beginning of each shift and puts supplies and equipment away at the end of each shift.
- Maintains cart, caddy, equipment, and janitor closet in an orderly fashion.
- Cleans assigned area in designated time frame.
- Executes job with little supervision.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in stripping and waxing floors, use of buffing machine and extractor machine required.
