What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant - Float Pool 24 hr Nights 7 pm-7 am position at Merrimack Health?
Position Summary: Nursing Assistant Float Pool Part-time Nights 7 pm to 7 am
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- A variety of Clinical Measures, including monitoring vital signs and oxygen levels
- Bathing, observation and meals
- ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Answering call buttons
- Ensures patient care is delivered by age-specific category requirements and established policy and procedure for all patient populations
- Responds promptly and compassionately to patient needs and requests. Must have a can-do attitude, with a strong focus on teamwork, and possess excellent customer service skills
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent or five years of experience in lieu of degree
- Basic Life Support certification. Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) is helpful but not required.
- An every-other-weekend schedule commitment is required.
