Early Childhood Teacher or Assistant – Preschool or Infant Classroom
Merrimack Child Care Center – Haverhill, MA
Merrimack Child Care Center is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic EEC Certified Teacher or Teacher Assistant to join our team!
We currently have an opening in either our Preschool or Infant classroom. We are open to discussing a schedule that works for the right candidate, including half-day/afternoon hours, but the position must include working through our 5:30 PM closing time.
What We’re Looking For
We would love to find someone who:
- Is EEC Teacher Certified or interested in working toward certification
- Enjoys working with young children and being part of a team
- Is dependable, positive, patient, and energetic
- Has good professional references
- Has reliable transportation
- Is able to successfully complete all required EEC Background Record Checks (BRC)
- Understands the importance of creating a warm, engaging classroom
- Enjoys hands-on learning, creative activities, outdoor play, and having fun with children
- Communicates professionally with families and coworkers
- Is willing to learn, grow, and contribute as part of our team
