What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security - MIS position at Merrillville Community School Corporation?
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday
8 hours per day. Start & end times set by Director of Security
School year position
WAGE RANGE: $17.50 - $20.25
QUALIFICATION:
- Prior experience in supervision/security, preferably in an educational setting with a proven ability
- to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the community.
- Must be able to walk the building, supervise students, provide security and maintain a safe and appropriate educational atmosphere.
- Ability to perform duties with an awareness of all school and Board of Education rules and policies. Candidate must possess character and responsibility that model positive traits for students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Walk and monitor school halls, cafeteria, monitor washroom facilities, monitor parking lots, and the school grounds in general.
- Work positively with the Corporation Director of Security and other district staff.
- Other duties assigned by building administration.
Salary : $18 - $20
