Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Shop Maintenance Electrician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure safe, reliable electrical operations that support our production processes and uphold compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes.

Position Summary: Our company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will primarily handle preventative maintenance tasks within our buildings, including modifying circuitry, replacing breakers, and repairing faulty wiring. Familiarity with NEC standards for the safe installation of wiring and equipment is essential. Although not required, candidates holding a Master Electrician license are highly preferred.

First shifters have three options: 5:00 am – 3:30 pm, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm, or 7:00 am – 5:30 pm. Fridays, the first half of the shift is mandatory, and the second half is voluntary. Second shift operates from 3:30 pm – 3:00 am, Mondays – Thursdays, and Fridays are voluntary. There is a $1.60 night shift premium available immediately. No Saturdays or Sundays for either shift. Either shift is available for this position.

Job Requirements:

· Have general knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems and components

· Plan electrical layouts

· Ability to diagnose most electrical problems

· Install electrical apparatus

· Capable of working with little direction

Experience:

• Maintenance electrician: 3 years (Required)

Pay: $28.85 - $34.74 per hour
