Established CPA firm seeking experienced tax preparer for full time, seasonal work. This is an excellent position for the skilled tax preparer desiring tax season employment in a friendly, supportive environment. Salary depends on experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Organizing client provided documents
- Preparing journal entries as needed to prepare tax returns
- Researching tax law as applicable to client tax returns
- Preparing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns using Lacerte software
A successful candidate will have strong organizational habits and solid communication skills.
You must be reliable and dedicated to completing your work accurately and on time. You are required to maintain complete confidentiality with client data.

Qualifications:
- Experience preparing tax returns minimum 1-2 years
- Lacerte software proficiency is desired but not required
- Proficiency in QuickBooks desired but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel and Word'
