The Senior Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan projects for Merric Millwork & Seating. They will oversee projects with senior managers, sales, estimating, and engineering to ensure that all the customers' expectations are in line with our company policies and goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Full project life cycle ownership Successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment.
- Oversee a team of Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Manage project scope and changes.
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
- Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
- Assist in dispute, negotiation, arbitration, or litigation, as needed.
- Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.
- Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
- Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
- Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Education and Experience:
- 7 years' experience in project management in the construction industry
- Bachelors degree in related discipline preferred.
- 5 years' experience in custom architectural millwork, preferred.
- PMP certification or willing to complete within 3 years of employment
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Must be able to safely navigate a construction site.
