Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits with precision and flair
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance guest experience and promote specials
- Manage cash transactions efficiently, process payments accurately, and handle cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and coordinate banquet or catering services when needed
- Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing expert recommendations based on guest preferences
- Monitor guest satisfaction continuously, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure an exceptional experience
- Keep track of inventory levels for beverages and supplies, assisting with stock replenishment as necessary
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated bartending skills including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, and beverage recipe development
- Fine dining experience or familiarity with upscale service standards is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders seamlessly during busy hours
- Experience with wine knowledge, craft beer selection, brewing processes, or mixology techniques is desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations for sales reporting
