Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to support local environmental hauling operations in Florida. This is a 100% local position with predictable routes, modern equipment, no overnight travel, and a consistent schedule.
You will operate like-new Mack Anthem tractors paired with MAC framed walking-floor trailers, transporting environmental and recyclable materials under long-term municipal contracts.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class A equipment in compliance with DOT regulations
- Transport environmental and recyclable materials locally
- Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections
- Plan routes and avoid traffic delays, road hazards
- Operate walking-floor trailer systems
- Operate PTO and additional dash controls to empty trailers, return trailers to utility plant
- Perform work while maintaining DOT driving rules and regulations
- Keep yourself and your fellow co-workers safe by performing alert and aware maneuvers
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into City and County instructed loading or unloading zones/positions
- Create and complete single page documents detailing load information (manifest)
- Report defects, accidents or issues and brainstorm resolutions

Pay & Bonus Structure
- Starting Pay: $21.00 /hour (negotiable based on experience)
- Weekly Direct Deposit
- Average First-Year Earnings: $85,000
Bonuses & Incentives
- Monthly performance bonus: $500–$800
- Mileage bonus: $0.07 per mile
- Load bonus: $7.00 per load
- Saturday bonus: $50 hourly pay
- Annual safety bonus: $2,000
- Attendance bonus: $1,750 (or 14 days off)
- $8,000 in annual bonus potential in addition to hourly pay
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
- Truck driving school diploma/certification a plus
- Valid commercial driving license
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
