This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced philanthropy professional to lead a dynamic Women’s Philanthropy program and strengthen a highly engaged donor community. Key Responsibilities
- Advance the Women’s Philanthropy program by increasing donor participation, engagement, and leadership involvement.
- Drive growth in annual and supplemental giving.
- Steward donors across the giving lifecycle—guiding annual donors toward multi-year, major, and planned gift opportunities.
- Inspire, guide, and partner with volunteer leaders, including the Women’s Philanthropy Chair and related committees, ensuring they serve as active ambassadors within the community.
- Lead an engagement strategy that connects individuals to Jewish life locally and globally, fostering deeper involvement and long-term philanthropic commitment.
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics, Excel, Teams, Word, and other relevant tools to manage donor data, track progress, and support effective stewardship.
- Serve as project manager for special initiatives, coordinating logistics, communications, presentations, and multi-stakeholder meetings.
- Demonstrate strong judgment, professionalism, and responsiveness when communicating with donors, partners, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support organization-wide fundraising, stewardship, and community engagement efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 5 years of relevant experience; nonprofit or fundraising experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience with Moves Management, donor cultivation, and year-over-year giving growth.
- Strong financial acumen, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of the nonprofit sector and an understanding of the Jewish communal landscape, philanthropy, and donor engagement is highly valued.
