Position Overview:
We are seeking a Dental Treatment Coordinator/Billing Coordinator who is not only experienced and detail-oriented but also thrives in a dynamic environment where multitasking, leadership, and a proactive attitude are key. In this role, you’ll be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurance—ensuring clarity, trust, and efficiency every step of the way. The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, leads by example, and maintains a respectful and professional demeanor with both patients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present and explain treatment plans and financial options to patients with clarity and compassion
- Manage insurance claims and billing with accuracy and timeliness
- Follow up on outstanding claims and patient balances/create payment plans
- Post payments in open dental and manage EOBs
- Follow up with insurance denials/manage appeals
- Follow up with collecting payments, creating payment plans
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong leadership in guiding team coordination and workflow efficiency
- Communicate consistently with the doctor and team, showing initiative in anticipating office needs
- Respectfully support the doctor’s treatment recommendations and reinforce patient trust. You will be underpaid and overworked.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in dental software: Open Dental
- Actively contribute to a supportive, collaborative, and fun office culture

- Minimum 2 years of dental treatment coordination experience
- Solid understanding of dental insurance, claims processing, and patient billing
