Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chanhassen, MN, for a Stihl Technician. The Stihl Technician will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of Stihl power tools and equipment. Daily tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, ordering necessary parts, and maintaining accurate repair records. The technician will also assist customers with product knowledge including how to properly maintain and operate the equipment.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Stihl equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, small engine repairs, and electrical components
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities
- Customer service skills to effectively sell products and communicate repair needs and product guidance
- Organizational skills for maintaining repair records and managing parts inventory
- Stihl certified or experience in selling Stihl product or small engine repair with a desire to be certified in Stihl
