A growing, family owned/operated land management and agricultural services company specializing is site preparation, management, brush/tree clearing and farm field preparation, planting and/or harvesting operations in Southeast Michigan.
Location:
Metro Detroit Area/Southeast Michigan including Oakland, Macomb, St. Clair, Wayne, Washtenaw and Livingston Counties. (Travel to Job Sites Required).
Job Type: Full-Time/Seasonal (depending on needs).
Starting Pay: $19 - $23 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a relatively experienced and safety conscious heavy equipment operator to support land management/clearing operations on various project sites. You will operate various machinery associated with agriculture, clearing and mowing. This work involves both rugged land clearing work and precision farm equipment operation in various outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Safely operate heavy equipment including skid-steers, front-end loaders, excavators, tractors and attachments (E.g., mulchers, mowers, plows, disks, cultivators and seeders).
· Perform land clearing tasks; grubbing, mulching, tree felling/removal, brush raking and debris removal.
· Agricultural operations; tilling soil, grading, leveling, planting, cultivating, post-harvest tillage.
· Conduct routine maintenance on equipment (fluid checks, greasing, cleaning) to ensure safe and efficient operation.
· Load/unload materials, haul debris and assist with site setup/cleanup as needed.
· Work collaboratively with crew members on various job sites, adapting to weather and terrain conditions.
Requirements & Qualifications:
· Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in land clearing, construction or agriculture.
· Familiarity with farm machinery (tractors, implements) and land clearing techniques (mulching, grubbing, grading) is highly preferred.
· Strong attention to safety, mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift 50 lbs., and stand/sit for extended periods.
· Reliable transportation to job sites in and around metro Detroit.
· Valid driver’s license required, also needs to have a good driving record. Background check and drug screening may be required.
