What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista: Full-time/Monday-Friday/Free Meals/$14 Per Hour position at Meriwether Godsey, Inc.?
Must be available to work as follows: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-3:30p OR Monday-Friday, 10:30a-6:30p with some weekends required. This role has a tentative start date of early-mid July.
What you will do:
- Make and serve specialty coffee, tea, and additional hot/cold beverages
- Greet and interact with customers while displaying a positive and friendly attitude
- Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage item
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation including, but not limited to, sweeping and mopping floors of cafe and severy, emptying trash cans, cleaning grinders, etc.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
- Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items
- Maintain stock of cafe inventory
What you need:
- Must provide proof of Covid -19 vaccination. Exemptions available upon request
- Previous Barista and/or Cafe experience preferred
- POS experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication and good organizational skills
- Flexibility; ability to switch between locations and job duties
- High School Diploma or equivalent
