What are the responsibilities and job description for the EVS Tech- Brook Lane - flexible schedule, days/nights/weekends - 8-hour shifts position at Meritus Medical Center Inc?
Performs general cleaning and sanitization duties as well as terminal cleaning/sterilization of areas within the medical center and affiliated areas in order to maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, healthy and attractive environment for patients, visitors, and facility staff. This staff position will have constant interaction with Meritus staff, visitors and patients, providing excellent customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education - High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience - One (1) year cleaning team/housekeeping experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Must possess the physical ability to perform heavy duty cleaning including lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to work from step ladders to reach high areas for cleaning and dusting. Physical ability to move loaded trash or laundry trucks/carts, patient beds and other equipment. Good customer service and communication skills required. Must be able to read, comprehend and follow specific instructions to complete tasks as assigned.
