Willow Inventory Analyst/Trainer – Epic Systems

- Partner with the **Epic project team** to translate business needs into smart, efficient EHR functionality.
- Design, configure, and implement **Epic Willow Inventory systems** that streamline pharmacy operations.
- Develop workflows, documentation, and training programs to ensure staff success.
- Analyze processes, identify challenges, and recommend solutions that drive efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with clinicians, business providers, and IT colleagues to build strong problem-solving partnerships.
- Take ownership of system components—testing, documenting, and ensuring **24/7 support and maintenance**.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, IT, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of progressive healthcare experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years in a hospital or clinic pharmacy required.
- Background in IT system deployment within a hospital or major medical center strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with hospital software/hardware, databases, query languages, and system configuration.
- Knowledge of physician office workflows across specialties and advanced computer skills.
- Experience in healthcare support areas such as billing, scheduling, access services, or HIM is a plus.
- Hands-on Epic systems experience highly desirable.
- Prior project team or systems support experience preferred.
- **Epic Willow Pharmacy certification** required.
- **Epic Willow Inventory certification** with inpatient pharmacy build experience required.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, Epic applications, and pharmacy inventory systems.
- Ability to analyze workflows, configure systems, and create solutions that improve efficiency and patient safety.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, TJC, and Meaningful Use requirements.
- Skilled in flowcharting, documentation, and project management.
- Excellent communication skills—able to lead meetings, resolve conflicts, and clearly convey technical needs.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships across clinical, business, and IT teams.
