LPN - Employee Health Nurse - Full Time - Dayshift
Mon. - Fri. 7:30am - 4pm
Join our dedicated Employee Health team and help promote a safe, healthy workplace for our team at Meritus! We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented LPN with a strong clinical background and a passion for occupational health. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting new employee onboarding, employee wellness, injury prevention, immunizations, and compliance with health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical support for pre-employment screenings, immunizations, TB testing, and annual health assessments
Monitor and manage employee exposure incidents, work-related injuries, and return-to-work processes
Maintain accurate health records in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policy
Collaborate with various departments to support employee wellness initiatives
Educate employees on health practices, vaccine information, and safety protocols
Requirements:
Education – Graduation from an accredited LPN certification program.
Experience – At least 3 years clinical nursing experience required. Outpatient medical office nursing or occupational health nursing preferred.
Licensure/Certification – Current license or eligible for licensure as an LPN in the State of Maryland. Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Ability to apply the standards of professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required. Must possess high level of organization and communication skills.
