What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Coordinator position at Meritus Medical Center Inc?
Summary – The Equipment Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing and reporting on all supplies and equipment that are stored within Central Distribution. S/he collaborates with the Distribution Techs to ensure that the supplies and equipment are handled in accordance with departmental policy/procedure to allow for timely delivery without any compromise to the material. The coordinator is also responsible for maintaining a current computerized inventory and for collaborating with the Distribution Tech / department supervisors, and Nursing to meet clinical, quality and financial goals.
Education – High School diploma or GED required.
Experience – Previous experience in Supply Chain distribution and customer service preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Basic computer skills, positive communication and inter-personal skills are required. Must be able to prioritize effectively.
