Patient Financial Services Representative

What You'll Do
- Review patient accounts to ensure charges and payments are accurate
- Verify that insurance authorizations have been obtained when required
- Submit claims and account information to insurance carriers and patients in a timely manner
- Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
- Navigate multiple insurance payer requirements while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Prioritize and manage a high-volume workload to maximize efficiency and collections
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Typing proficiency of at least 40 WPM
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- One year of experience in hospital billing, physician billing, collections, revenue cycle, or a centralized billing function
- Stable Monday-Friday schedule with evenings and weekends free
