Job Summary
Lundy's Propane in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a motivated Dispenser to assist with general manual labor tasks around the plant. Under direct supervision, this position performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, dispensing fuel to customers, organizing the warehouse, and other responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Clean, inspect and refill empty propane tanks
- Perform inspection and service on tanks as needed to include changing valves
- Follow all safety protocol and wear appropriate PPE
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow position specific processes and procedures
- Perform all other general duties as assigned
- Interacts with customers via telephone or in person to provide support and information on products or services and serves as a liaison between customers and the company
- Assists as needed with collecting and entering orders for new or additional products or services
- Forwards customer questions and complaints to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff

Qualifications:Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience
- Experience in high-volume phone call settings (preferred)
- Experience in the oil and propane industry (preferred)
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Service-oriented and the ability to resolve customer grievances
- Proficient with computer skills and the ability to learn and use current and new software
- Must be proficient with the current Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize different software
Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by the incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed in order to safely assist with duties around the plant
- Must pass pre-employment screening and background check
