Job Summary:
Meritum Energy is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to join our San Antonio support office. This role will manage social media strategies and create high-quality content—including photography, video, social media graphics, and traditional print assets—to support multiple brands across TX, NM, FL, NC, OK, and AR. Occasional travel may be required for content creation and marketing events.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing creative execution with social media management to drive engagement and brand growth.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage social media strategies across multiple brands to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Create, schedule, and publish social media content (graphics, videos, captions) across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize campaigns.
- Coordinate with external marketing agencies to ensure social media campaigns align with brand objectives and deliver consistent messaging.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely execution of campaigns.
- Stay current with social media trends and emerging platforms to enhance brand presence and engagement.
- Design and produce visual content for digital and print, including social media graphics, website assets, promotional flyers, email templates, and other content.
- Capture and edit video content for social media, product overviews, and brand storytelling.
- Execute photography and videography for marketing events and brand content creation.
- Organize and maintain a library of design and video assets for efficient access and use across marketing projects.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to align content strategies with overall marketing campaigns and brand objectives.

Qualifications:Skills/Abilities:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, analytics, and best practices for engagement and growth.
- Proficiency in design and content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and video editing software
- Comprehensive writing skills including writing for multiple brands (to brand guides)
- Ability to create visually compelling content that aligns with brand guidelines and drives audience engagement.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- 4 years of experience in content creation (can be a mix of social media and graphic design backgrounds)
- Portfolio demonstrating social media management and graphic design
- Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and creating content that aligns with platform best practices.
