Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk is responsible for collecting payment from clients and customers. The focus of this role is to track payments, manage customer balances, manage customer credit lines and terms, and ensure our valued customers use proper invoicing for tracking and payment purposes. To excel in this role, one should be an active listener, great communicator, people person, and have a desire to improve our AR functions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Accounting Coordinator to complete all allocated tasks
- Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
- Communicate with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans
- Collect payment from customers and accurately record it into the system
- Update client accounts based on payment or contact information
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:Education & Skills
- High School Diploma required
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities and stay organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Assertive, self-motivated business developer capable of making independent decisions with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Must be proficient with using the current Microsoft Office suite and comfortable with using technology
