The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting department and supporting financial reporting efforts.Responsibilities:Process accounts for payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.Maintain and update financial records using accounting software and financial software.Assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and monthly financial statements.Support budgeting processes by providing necessary data and insights.Utilize Quicken and Workday for efficient financial management and reporting.Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards.Perform regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.Assist in resolving discrepancies in accounts, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly.Track and record deliveries to customersDistribute invoices for sales review Keep accurate records in accordance with company standardsPerform all other office tasksQualifications:Previous experience in billing, finance, or other related fieldsProficiency in accounting software and financial software is essential for this role.Strong understanding of governmental accounting principles is a plus.Excellent math skills to perform calculations accurately.Experience with balance sheet reconciliation processes is highly desirable.Experience in data entryKnowledge of standard accounting proceduresAbility to prioritize and multitaskAbility to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively.
