Description:
Position Summary:
- Assists with data domain and/or Technology FLU/CF (Front Line Units / Control Functions) adherence to Enterprise Data Management (EDM) & Global Records Management (GRM) Policy & Standards, including monitoring of all required transport controls and ensure maintenance of data domain profile and required metadata. Partner with Technology teams to help create processes to enable adherence to the EDM and GRM Policy & Standards and other regulatory mandates. Ensures timely approvals of Permit to Operate requests from Technology teams while ensuring compliance with EDM impacts. Partner with Business and/or Technology Records coordinators as well as Application Managers to ensure compliance with GRM requirements. Partner with Enterprise Data Operations team and Report Owners & Preparers to ensure data dictionaries of in-scope Non-Financial Regulatory Reports (NFRR) are properly established and maintained. Partner with DSME team to review controls to ensure they are effective across all phases of data management lifecycles with a special emphasis on Transport and External Data Transmission related processes & controls. Partner with CIO teams to ensure external data transmission metadata is optimized and assist with dispositioning of any Permit to Send cases. Assists in remediation of data incidents, as necessary, including data incident reporting. Create CIO Data Health Scorecards to drive visibility to prevalent data risks in in-scope FLU/CFs and enable data risk mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Understand and help implement Data Management & Global Records Management policy & standards requirements
- Understand Change Management processes involving Permit-to-operate
- Understand Process Management - Enterprise Policy and help manage updates to business processes, controls, and metrics in POP & Key Measures for in-scope data domains and respective Authorized Data Sources & Authorized Data Sets
- Understand Data Incident management processes and support DART tool reporting for in-scope Data Domains & FLU/CFs
- Understand technical data control frameworks deployed in applications to enable consistent interpretation and implementation of data standard requirements
- Understand & leverage various data governance reports (Domain Health Profiles, SAM Metrics, MTM/CIO Data Health Dashboards, GRM Scorecard etc.) to drive improvements in data domain maturity
- Drive data analytics initiatives with an emphasis on bringing visibility and clarity to the key data health metrics
- Ability to work across various vertical & horizontal organizations to achieve common objectives
- Manage projects - understand Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Intermediate-to-Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools
Desired Qualifications:
- Expertise in standard DM technologies like SQL-based relational databases, and NOSQL platforms (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)
- Proficient in data warehousing techniques (demonstrated strong logical, dimensional and physical data modeling skills), skills with ERP (enterprise resource planning), ETL (extract, transform, load) and CRM (customer relationship management) solutions and processes
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python), graph analytics (e.g., Neo4j), and/or BI Reporting tools (e.g., Microstrategy, Cognos etc.)
