About the Ro
leMeritec is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative connector and cable assembly products. This role focuses primarily on new product development (80%) while also supporting existing products (20%). Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this position plays a critical role in driving technical excellence from concept through production. This position is onsite, full-time in our Painesville, Ohio manufacturing facilit

- iesDesign and develop new connector and cable assembly products based on customer and market requiremen

- le.Generate 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWor
- ks.Collaborate with process engineering to develop and implement new manufacturing processes for newly designed produc
- ts.Ensure product designs meet all functional, performance, and reliability requiremen
- ts.Maintain and manage design documentation and revision histo
- ry.Provide technical support to customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholde
- rs.Identify and drive improvements in design processes and too
