Meritan, Inc., a Tennessee-based health, human, and social services nonprofit, is seeking a compassionate candidate to join its Home Health team as a Data Entry Clerk in Memphis, TN. In this full-time position (with option for some remote work), the successful candidate will assist with the entry of patient data into electronic systems, including OASIS, physician orders, referral information and other pertinent patient-related information.

High school graduate.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care or similar field, data entry experience preferably in home care.
Demonstrated knowledge of regulations for Medicare, Medicaid and insurance processing, medical terminology and coding preferred.
Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards for home care specific to the data entry and medical records preferred.
Knowledge/experience in the health care setting with an understanding of basic medical terminology preferred.
Demonstrated organizational skills, detail orientation, flexibility and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Salary : $15 - $20
