Merit Tool is looking for a dependable and responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks on a part-time basis (5 days, 30 hrs. per week). . Duties include answering and screening phone calls, greeting and checking in visitors, maintaining appropriate filing systems, data entry of payables, receivables, payroll worksheets, and various other data entry and report tasks. Also work with shipping personnel in the areas of packaging and shipment documentation. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Skills
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
