Summary of the Position:

If you’re a chemist with experience in personal care and a passion for bringing customers ideas to life, Merit is the perfect place for you. You’ll get to work directly with customers to determine what kinds of products they want to develop. We’re looking for someone who can create strong, reliable formulas across a wide spectrum of personal care products, as well as home care, laundry, pet care, and more.

Our Chemists are dedicated to creating great products and working with our compounding team to ensure that every batch is coming out correctly.

• Formulate new products for customers
• Iterate on formulas based on customer feedback
• Assist in scale up procedures during production
• Assist with testing and verifying batches
• Work with other chemists on group products
• Value engineer formulas for customers

Qualifications:

• College degree in chemistry
• Experience in product creation
• Clear communication skills
• Works well with a Team

What you get for your Hard Work:

Pay: Starts at $60,000 annually based on experience
