HVAC Installer - Dorrian Heating & Cooling

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installer with to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and delivering excellent customer service.
The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing residential and commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation systems while ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to code standards.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and ductwork
- Perform equipment startup, testing, and system verification to ensure proper operation and efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
- Ensure all installations comply with local HVAC codes, company standards, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members, contractors, and customers to complete projects on schedule
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues in the field
- Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate project updates as needed
- Keep work areas, company vehicles, and tools clean and organized
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of HVAC installation experience
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, installation practices, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Regularly walk, stand, balance, stoop, squat, bend, climb, crawl, reach overhead, and operate company vehicles
- Frequently use hands and arms to handle tools, equipment, and materials
- Perform overhead HVAC work for extended periods of time
- Lift up to 25 lbs. overhead multiple times per week and request assistance for lifting over 50 lbs.
- Work comfortably in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
- Work extended hours or additional days when project demands require
- Safely operate powered construction tools including drills, saws, snips, and similar equipment
- Maintain awareness of safety procedures involving ladders, stairs, lifting, and jobsite hazards
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Work in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, humidity, rain, and other outdoor elements
- Occasionally work in loud environments requiring hearing protection
