Warehouse Sanitation

Merit Logistics is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our growing team! This position's schedule is 1st shift: 7 AM Start. This full-time position is responsible for keeping the warehouse clean by sweeping, mopping, removing trash, and performing any other miscellaneous duties as assigned. This position may utilize heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to complete assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Reliably commute to and from the facility
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Able to lift 5lbs. to 75lbs throughout the shift
• Stand for an extended period
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work a full shift in various temperatures (freezer, cooler, or dry section) when required

Preferred: Sanitation experience

Responsibilities:

• Deep cleans, sweeps, and/or mops assigned areas, including aisles, compactors, dock areas, and levelers, floor racks, etc.
• Dusts posts, barriers, and fire exit stations
• Cardboard breakdown
• Trash removal
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
