Warehouse Manager

Job description

Merit Logistics has a full time, permanent, Warehouse Manager position in the city of Waterloo, IA.

Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 3:30pm

Pay Range: $20.00- $22.00 per hour

Average hours per week are 40. Overtime is based on volume increase**

Qualifications:

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work (location below).
• Looking for team orientated, hard working individuals.
• A positive attitude is always required.
• Open to change and can work in a fast paced environment both as a team and independently.
• Warehouse experience is required
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• High Accuracy of work – Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
• Good Communication – Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities:

• Reports directly with client
• Manage approximately 10 employees each shift to ensure each employee is kept on task.
• Communicate with the guard shack and client to manage scheduled trucks, pallets, and dock space.
• Print and prepare RCNs for designated employees.
• Monitor loads to ensure completion in a timely-manner.
• Take and deliver BOLs to the drivers on schedule.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
