NetSuite System Manager
Full Time Position

Merit is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, and diligent individual to serve as NetSuite System Manager based out of our Bethlehem, PA facility. Merit has recently implemented NetSuite as our primary financial, operational, CRM, and project management system. The NetSuite System Manager will administer the system and work with internal cross-functional teams to enhance system utilization, drive operational excellence, maintain data integrity, and deploy metrics across the organization. Merit recognizes the NetSuite System Manager as a key role to the core function of the business and its ongoing success. This role will serve as a critical partner to the business, ensuring robust processes, data, and reporting, seamless integrations, troubleshooting issues are resolved timely, and driving improvements across multiple platforms.
Qualified candidates possess experience with various NetSuite modules in a hands-on technical role, including financial (GL, advanced Rev Rec, AP, AR), project management, CRM, inventory, manufacturing, quality, and service. This position requires an individual with strong communication skills (verbal and written), excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, commitment to task, sense of urgency, and ability to operate with considerable autonomy given overall guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary in-house NetSuite expert: Own day-to-day administration of NetSuite (users, roles, security, permissions, etc.) for production and sandbox environments
- Maintain system configuration, integrations, and apply enhancements, monitor performance
- Manage release updates, testing, training, rollout
- Maintain system documentation (configurations, reporting, processes, procedures, etc.)
- Audit internal system usage and ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Primary contact with NetSuite and NetSuite ACS team, facilitating system improvements, reporting, and automations. Participate in working groups, conferences as applicable.
- Work with Merit internal teams to understand the business, the product, the industry, and Merit’s growth plans to propose, develop, deploy and maintain enhancements, integrations, and reporting, dashboards that drive improvements in productivity, quality, cost, cycle time and efficiency
- Manage and enhance reporting, saved searches, dashboards, transaction flows, and approval workflows
- Ensure stable system performance and resolve issues impacting order flow and financial processes
- Actively participate and as applicable lead process re-engineering and improvement initiatives
- Regular communication of system, integration, and enhancement status, risks and issues to executive leadership team and working groups
- Train internal groups on use of system, enhancements, integrations
- Maintain and adapt the system as business needs grow and change
Position Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, MIS, or Business Management preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience with NetSuite in a technical, administrator, hands-on role
- Experience with NetSuite Advanced Project Management
- Knowledge of hosting and cloud-based application management
