Position Overview
The Sales Supervisor – Roll-Off & Portable Sanitation is a producing leader responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key construction and commercial accounts, and coaching a team of sales representatives. This role combines personal production with team leadership to expand market share in construction waste, roll-off services, and portable sanitation solutions.
This position reports to the General Manager and Area President and plays a critical role in achieving aggressive growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Business Development:
- Maintain and grow a personal book of business in construction, industrial, and commercial markets
- Prospect and secure new roll-off and portable sanitation accounts
- Develop relationships with general contractors, site superintendents, developers, and property managers
- Identify large project opportunities and coordinate service execution
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, coach, and develop inside and outside sales representatives
- Conduct weekly pipeline reviews and ride-alongs
- Set clear activity and performance expectations
- Assist team members with closing major opportunities
- Recruit and onboard new sales talent as needed
Strategy & Market Growth:
- Develop local market growth strategy for construction and event segments
- Monitor pricing, competition, and margin performance
- Collaborate with operations to ensure service excellence and retention
- Support large bid responses and RFP submissions for construction waste and portable sanitation services
Customer Retention & Service:
- Manage escalated customer issues
- Ensure strong communication between sales and operations
- Drive retention, upselling, and contract extensions
Qualifications:
- 3 years sales experience (waste, construction, industrial services preferred)
- 1 years leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Proven track record of meeting revenue targets
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Compensation Structure:
- Base Salary
