Details about the Sous Chef position we are hiring for:
The Sous Chef is responsible for the proper preparation of the planned menu in the absence of the Executive Chef and assists in the supervision of all kitchen employees maintaining a positive, courteous work environment for staff and residents. This will be a full time position required to work weekends. 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to understand measurements and conversions.
• Two to three years’ experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining preferred.
• Culinary education and supervisory background desirable.
• Ability to plan and organize work, to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications and standards.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance. Some knowledge of nutrition and diet. Health Care experience desirable.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and performs simple arithmetic. Ability to understand measurements and conversions.
• Serve Safe Certification a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and social skills in order to work effectively with residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, and other outside contacts.
