Account Manager

Meridian Insurance is a family-owned, locally operated independent insurance agency with more than 50 employees and offices throughout the country. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an organized, customer-focused individual to join our service team.

This is not a sales position.

Our agency is structured with dedicated sales and service teams, allowing you to focus on what you do best—providing outstanding customer service and supporting our clients.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, billing questions, and coverage inquiries.
• Process payments and service requests.
• Coordinate policy changes and new business requests with our sales team.
• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding underwriting, policy updates, and client needs.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and chat.
• Work with mortgage companies, lenders, and other third parties to fulfill policy requests.
• Maintain accurate documentation within our agency management system.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty insurance license preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Previous customer service or insurance experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask across multiple computer systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a team-first mentality.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
