- Assist senior technicians with the installation and servicing of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and boilers.
- Learn to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to support system setup and troubleshooting.
- Support maintenance tasks such as equipment repair, refrigeration servicing—including ammonia refrigeration systems—and plumbing work.
- Participate in field service activities by diagnosing issues using tools like ohmmeters and performing repairs on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) equipment.
- Gain experience in welding and mechanical work necessary for system assembly or repair projects.
- Help with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation and safety standards are met.
- Develop understanding of electrical components involved in HVAC systems through hands-on learning.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver’s license; must maintain a clean driving record
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently
- Ability to participate in an emergency on-call rotation is a core requirement
- Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs independently and sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time
- Prior experience is a plus but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to support team collaboration on complex projects
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
