Nature of Work
Provides support to the Information Systems department by performing a variety of administrative and technical functions. Work is characterized by its variety, complexity and confidential nature, requiring considerable organizational and analytical ability. Employee is responsible for evaluating and managing data, providing specialized information, and participating in departmental projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Utilizes Microsoft (MS) Excel, Access, various word processing, file maintenance, and/or database programs to enter both, paper and electronic data, into the Collection Resource Software database (CRS) for use companywide. Perform various checks on the data before and after loading to ensure the data’s integrity, quality, and accuracy. Document and track client data numbers for various daily, monthly, and yearly reports.
Maintain confidentiality by properly disposing of sensitive information and filing data, both paper and electronic.
Assist with IS Manager with any tasks at hand as well as being cross trained on TCN Dialer. Cross training involves: Creating and maintaining Campaign Schedule, maintaining Call Campaigns according to schedule, moving phone lines, changing call pacing and blocking last minute Do Not Calls and any other tasks IS Manager advises of.
Remove and update bad information (i.e. phone numbers, addresses) in the CRS database.
Perform weekly system tasks: Skip tracing, Cellphone Searches and Collection Reports.
Update and maintain IS Assistant manual when any changes in procedure occur.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
· Business Administration or a related field experience of 3 to 5 years of equivalent.
· Must have knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
· Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
· Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
· Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage priorities in fast-moving, high-volume environment.
· Must be a self-starter and able to work on an independent basis.
· Must be able to handle confidential information.
Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, walking, manual dexterity (writing, typing), operation of automated equipment (computer).
