Job Overview

We’re seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. You’ll operate a wide range of equipment—loaders, excavators, bulldozers, wheel tractor-scrapers, and more—to support construction, mining, industrial, and logistics projects. If you have proven experience, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to adapt to changing site conditions, we want to meet you.

Duties

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, scrapers, and other heavy machinery.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
• Load, move, and place materials efficiently while minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to meet project goals.
• Adjust to varying site conditions, including rough terrain and adverse weather.
• Maintain accurate records of usage, inspections, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures, hazard recognition, and emergency protocols.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to travel or relocate to different project sites.

Preferred:

• Experience with GPS-guided or automated control systems.
• Background in construction, roadwork, utilities, or mining.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor repairs.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
