We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framer Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing projects.
- Erect metal building frameworks, including metal stud framing and structural supports, ensuring alignment with specifications.
- Install concrete forms and rebar for foundations, slabs, and other structural elements.
- Perform framing tasks using hand tools and power tools, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and securing wood or metal components.
- Conduct masonry work such as stucco application, siding installation, and restoration projects as needed.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining safety standards.
- Execute finishing tasks like trim carpentry, drywall installation, and plastering to achieve polished results on remodeling projects.
- Use basic math skills for dimensional measurements and precise cuttings; operate tape measures confidently.
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment is required regularly to support construction activities on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols throughout each project phase.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in framing carpentry, metal building erection, concrete forming, or related construction roles.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including drills and saws.
- Familiarity with rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, roofing systems, siding, stucco application, and masonry work.
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices.
- Experience with welding or metal stud framing is a plus but not mandatory.
- Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills.
- Basic math proficiency necessary for precise measurements; ability to interpret technical specifications confidently.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders or scaffolding as required.
