Join a Practice Where You Can Do Meaningful Work — and Feel Supported Doing It

At Meridian Counseling and Wellness, we believe great therapy starts with clinicians who feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work.

We are a growing New Hampshire group practice looking for compassionate, dedicated mental health clinicians who want to provide meaningful care while being part of a collaborative team. We understand that clinicians need more than a place to see clients — they need a practice that supports their professional growth, respects their expertise, and recognizes the importance of balance.

At Meridian, you will have the opportunity to build a caseload that aligns with your clinical interests and strengths while working with a team that values collaboration, consultation, and connection.

Whether you are an experienced independently licensed clinician or a pre-licensed clinician beginning your professional career, we want to create an environment where you can grow your clinical skills, develop your professional identity, and build a career that feels sustainable and fulfilling.

About Meridian Counseling & Wellness

Meridian Counseling and Wellness is a New Hampshire-based group practice providing compassionate, individualized mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Our clinicians bring diverse clinical backgrounds, specialties, and therapeutic approaches to our practice. We believe clients benefit when they are matched with a clinician whose personality, experience, and approach fit their individual needs.

Our practice is built around quality care, collaboration, flexibility, and genuine connection — with both our clients and one another.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our team in a full-time or part-time W-2 position.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Builds strong, authentic therapeutic relationships.
  • Approaches clients with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment.
  • Is clinically thoughtful and committed to providing quality care.
  • Values collaboration and consultation with other clinicians.
  • Is dependable, organized, and responsible with clinical documentation.
  • Is interested in continued professional and personal growth.
  • Appreciates the flexibility and autonomy of a group practice while also valuing the support of a team.

What You Will Do

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will:

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy based on your training and scope of practice.
  • Complete initial clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based and clinically appropriate interventions.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment approaches as appropriate.
  • Assess and appropriately respond to client safety and risk concerns.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation.
  • Coordinate care with other providers when appropriate and authorized.
  • Provide telehealth services as clinically appropriate.
  • Participate in clinical consultation and supervision.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, New Hampshire regulations, and applicable professional ethical standards.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative practice culture.

We Welcome Different Clinical Perspectives

We believe clinicians should be able to practice from approaches that align with their training, strengths, and the needs of their clients.

Experience or training in the following is welcomed:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • EMDR
  • Trauma-Informed Therapy
  • Person-Centered Therapy
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Play Therapy
  • Mindfulness-Based Approaches
  • Other evidence-based therapeutic approaches

We also welcome clinicians with specialized interests or expertise that may complement and expand the services currently offered by our practice.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
  • Current New Hampshire clinical license or appropriate pre-licensed status.
  • Ability to provide psychotherapy within your education, training, experience, and scope of practice.
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
  • Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and client-centered care.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Preferred

  • Experience providing outpatient mental health services.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families.
  • Experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, or other common outpatient concerns.
  • Experience providing telehealth.
  • Previous private practice or group practice experience.
  • Specialized clinical training or certifications.

Pre-Licensed Clinicians

We are proud to support clinicians who are developing their careers.

Qualified pre-licensed clinicians working toward independent licensure are encouraged to apply. Meridian provides appropriate clinical supervision and support consistent with New Hampshire licensing requirements and the clinician's professional development needs.

We want our pre-licensed clinicians to feel supported as they develop their confidence, clinical skills, and professional identity — not simply as clinicians working toward a license, but as valued members of our team.

Why Meridian?

We know that clinicians have choices when deciding where to build their careers. We strive to create a practice where clinicians can do excellent work without feeling like they have to sacrifice their own well-being to do it.

At Meridian, we value:

Connection
You are joining a team, not simply renting a space or managing a caseload on your own.

Collaboration
We encourage consultation, shared knowledge, and supporting one another through challenging clinical situations.

Growth
We believe good clinicians never stop learning and encourage ongoing professional development.

Autonomy
We trust our clinicians to use their clinical judgment and develop their own areas of expertise.

Balance
We recognize that sustainable clinical work requires boundaries, flexibility, and time away from work.

Compassion
We extend the same compassion to our clinicians that we hope they provide to their clients.

Employment & Work Environment

  • W-2 employment
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities
  • Hybrid office and telehealth model
  • Collaborative group practice environment
  • Clinical supervision for eligible pre-licensed clinicians
  • Opportunities for professional development and consultation
  • Caseload development based on clinician availability, experience, and practice needs
  • Office-based clinical space
  • Supportive administrative and clinical team

Compensation, benefits, scheduling, caseload expectations, and supervision arrangements will be discussed based on licensure, experience, and position status.
