Objective
The designer finds remodeling solutions to our customer's problems within a specified budget range. The designer guides the client through selections in a way to minimize their stress and build their excitement.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with customers and listen to understand their needs.
- Deliver an exciting design experience to produce high level of customer satisfaction in the design phase.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and provide support to our customers as they confirm material selections for their project.
- Provide exceptional communication and support during design and construction.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Uses field measure information from the estimator to produce detailed and accurate plans for existing relevant spaces.
- Facilitates design kick-off meeting with the client, and project developer to review and discuss goals, budget, and design aesthetic.
- Creates accurate and exciting conceptual drawings for customer review and acceptance.
- Works with customers in design development meetings before the construction agreement is signed.
- Supports and guides the customer through the process of confirming material selections and project details.
- Delivers clear and accurate plans to the estimator for preliminary and final pricing on contracts, options, and additional work orders.
- Provides specifications to vendors about the project for pricing in advance of the construction agreement and at the time of install.
- Assists project developer with preparation for any design development meetings, and proposal of construction agreements.
- Prepares construction drawings to the specifications that are agreed upon by the customer. All completed construction drawings will have the correct information for permitting and construction.
- Prepares the job ready for construction. This will include material lists for selections and special-order items, finalizing prices with vendors, install plans for the field team, and completing the job folder at least two weeks in advance of the Pre-Construction Meeting.
- Provides carpenters with additional support as needed during construction, including but not limited to additional details, drawings, and information for on-site meetings if needed.
- Participates in weekly update meetings with each customer during the project.
