The Financial Services Accountant is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the College. The Financial Services Accountant manages accounting and related financial functions while providing strategic financial insight to support institutional decision-making and long-term financial stability.
The Financial Services Accountant supports the College's financial operations through accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and related business functions. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, supporting daily operations within Financial Services, and ensuring compliance with institutional procedures and regulatory requirements.
The Financial Services Accountant works collaboratively with campus departments to support budget development, forecasting, and financial planning while providing professional and responsive customer service to faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5 years of experience with Business Processes and/or Accounting, including purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, & maintaining general ledger.
- Extensive computer experience on a large database system.
- Extensive computer skills with word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software.
- Ability to work well with faculty, staff, students, and community members.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA preferred.
