Job Summary
Assist the Director, Global Contract Management with the preparation and administration of customer contracts, material transfer contracts, confidentiality agreements, supply agreements, vendor forms. The overall responsibilities of this position require strong research, communication, and technology skills; and the ability to meet timelines.
Key Duties
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:
Customer Contracts
Assist in the preparation of all types of customer contracts.
Assist with outside legal counsel to conduct research and assess business risk of various contract provisions.
Monitor contract follow-up and renewal provisions.
Maintain contract management system.
Ensure proper implementation of certain terms and conditions within customer contracts.
Ensure Certificate of Insurance request are sent.
Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met.
Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Paralegal certification or equivalent training and experience.
3 to 5 years prior experience in similar roles.
Experience with manufacturing and or life science based contracting
Knowledge of Microsoft products (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, etc.) and ability to use automated systems.
Strong ability and experience working with multiple internal clients required.
Demonstrated strong organizational and project management skills.
Must possess outstanding communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills.
Highly motivated, readily adapts to changing priorities, and effectively manages own time.
Creativity and receptiveness to new ideas and continuous improvement measures.
High level of personal and professional ethics.
Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality requirements.
May be required to work outside normal business hours including evenings and/or weekends to support business needs.
